The Wildwood HQ is getting compliment after compliment, and rightly so. The building is stunning. Striking in its countryside setting, nestled within East Horton Golf Centre.
Wildwood Machinery’s new headquarters shows what happens when vision, collaboration, and craftsmanship align: a building that works hard, looks confident, and elevates its setting.
From the outset, this scheme was about more than just delivering a functional building. It was about creating a space that reflects the quality of the business it serves — something robust, efficient, and visually impressive.
Working closely with MD James Bastian, our involvement at Exdell spanned the full lifecycle of the project:
• Early-stage design and concept development
• Navigating the planning process and securing consent
• Preparing the construction design package
• Supporting and coordinating the tendering process
• Overseeing key elements through the build phase
This end-to-end involvement ensured continuity, clarity, and a consistent vision from first sketch through to final delivery.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project has been seeing the transition from initial planning drawings to the finished building now sitting confidently within its landscaped setting.
What began as a concept on paper and a vision for the future is now a completed, operational space that is turning heads and generating conversations across the industry.
More than just a building, it is a physical representation of the Wildwood Machinery brand, reflecting its quality, ambitions and professionalism.

The finished building speaks for itself:

The feedback has been fantastic and with the ultimate compliment being “This is the blueprint for greenkeepers’ workshops nationwide”
And they are right, what’s particularly exciting is the versatility of a building like this.
While designed for Wildwood Machinery, the principles behind it can be applied across a wide range of uses:
The project demonstrates that with the right vision, planning strategy and attention to detail, even the most practical operational building can become standout assets and sets a benchmark for performance and presence—how these buildings work, and how they make you feel.
While photographs tell part of the story, the real impact of Wildwood Machinery HQ is best appreciated in person.
If you’d like to see the building up close and learn more about the business behind it, Wildwood Machinery will be hosting their next Open Day at East Horton Golf Centre on Wednesday 1st July.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the facility, meet the team, and see firsthand how thoughtful design, planning and delivery can create a building that is both highly functional and visually striking.
Since completion, we’ve already had conversations with clients interested in adapting this model for their needs across the golf and leisure, rural estates, and commercial sectors.
The message is simple: operational buildings don’t need to be merely functional. With the right vision and expertise, they become brand assets—strengthening identity and lifting their wider context.
At Exdell, we’re passionate about helping clients unlock that potential. From concept and planning through to detailed design, project coordination and delivery, we work alongside our clients to turn ambitious ideas into successful developments.
If you’re considering a golf, sport and leisure development, a new clubhouse, operational facility, business headquarters, or wider estate project, we’d be delighted to discuss how we can help bring your vision to life.
